Photo and quote
You send 2 to 3 photos: a wide shot of the floor showing the affected area, a close-up of the scratch or dent, and one showing the finish (matte, satin, gloss). We reply with a fixed quote within 24 hours.

Site visit
Technician arrives, identifies the timber species and finish, and confirms the scratch depth. If the damage runs deeper than the wear layer on engineered boards, we tell you before any work starts.

Repair
Surface scratches: 30 to 60 minutes onsite. Deeper gouges and dents with fill: 60 to 120 minutes. Lifted veneer re-glue: 90 minutes. We mask the surrounding boards and blend the finish at the edges so the repair sits flush.

Cure and done
Walk on the boards within 2 hours. Heavy furniture back after 24 hours. We send aftercare instructions (avoid wet mopping for 48 hours) and a reminder when the cure window closes.

Repair or replace?
We do not push a repair when a replacement is the right call. Here is how Ben reads it before quoting.
Repair makes sense when
- Scratches, dents, and gouges in a few boards
- Water rings, cup marks, or pet stains on the finish
- Lifted veneer on engineered boards that is still attached
- Damage in a floor you do not want to sand back whole
Replacement is the honest call when
- Boards are cupped, swollen, or rotten from long-term water
- The wear layer on engineered boards is sanded through
- You want a different timber or finish across the room
