How a repair job actually runs
Most surface repair sites read like a sales brochure. Ours reads like a runbook, because that's what it is. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you send a photo to the day the cure window closes.
- 01
Send a photo
One wide shot, one close-up. About 30 seconds.
- 02
Fixed price within 24 hours
A real technician reviews it and writes the price. The quote is the price.
- 03
We fix it in place
Named technician, on time. Ground back, colour-matched, and polished flush, no replacement.
What this process is designed to remove
- Phone-tag with tradespeople who never call back
- Inspection fees just to get a price
- Renovation quotes for jobs that need a repair
- Surprise pricing at the door
- Mystery 'team' identity (you get a named technician)
- Days of waiting for a quote

- 01
You send 1 to 2 photos
Through the form at /quote. Drag-and-drop or tap to upload. We need a wide shot of the surface (so we can see scale) and a close-up of the damage (so we can see the depth and edges). If the photos are unusable (too dark, too far, wrong surface), we will ask for specific re-shots. No quote-blind guesswork.
Photo upload is mandatory. We cannot quote without one.
- 02
We reply with a fixed quote
Within 24 hours. We are open 24/7, so send a photo any time, including weekends and public holidays. The quote includes the work, the time onsite, the cure window, and the price including GST. The quote is the price. There are no surprises at the door.
The quote is the price. No add-ons.
- 03
You book a time that suits you
Reply to the quote email or call to lock a slot. We work 24/7, so pick a time that suits, including evenings and weekends. For Mornington Peninsula and regional VIC, slots fall on scheduled visit-window days; quote will name the next available date.
Single-name booking. Same technician arrives.
- 04
Technician arrives at the booked time
You meet the technician (named in the quote, photo on the booking page). 5-minute inspection confirms the quote. If anything is different on arrival (more damage than the photos showed, or the surface is something we cannot work on), we will tell you before any work starts. You can reschedule, cancel, or accept a revised quote. No pressure, no hidden fees.
Inspection is free. You can walk away.
- 05
Repair
Drop sheets, mask the surrounding area, do the work. Time onsite varies by job: bath chip 60 to 120 minutes, full bath resurfacing around 4 hours, Caesarstone chip around 90 minutes, tile crack around 60 to 90 minutes, timber floor scratches per board count. We send before-and-after photos to your phone when we finish.
Photos sent to your phone after the job.
- 06
Cure window
Most repairs need 24 to 48 hours of cure time before normal use. Full bath resurfacing needs 48 to 72 hours before the first hot bath. We send you aftercare instructions and a reminder when the window closes. After that, you use the surface like new.
Aftercare instructions sent automatically.
- 07
Invoice and payment
Tax invoice through Xero, GST-itemised. Payment via card (Stripe), bank transfer, or trade Net-30 if you have a trade account. Payment is due on completion for retail jobs. Trade accounts get monthly statements.
GST-compliant tax invoice every time.
- 08
Insured and accountable
We carry public liability and professional indemnity insurance, bound through an Australian broker, with certificates of currency available on request. Every quote is signed by the technician who does the work, and the price on the quote is the price on the invoice, GST included.
Fully insured, technician-signed.
